Just like Natalie Imbruglia, I’m torn.
What? You don’t remember the melodic stylings of the Australian singer-songwriter/model/actress from the early 90s?
Noted, my reference is dated, but I am truly torn. Torn by a passion for marketing, for campaign creation from research to concept to copy to print from identity and collateral to direct mail to web, for consumerism, and playing my part in improving ROI for your company through design. I wrestle at night with this love and my love of art, creation, photography, crafting, and stationery design. My life is a quest to make all things “pretty”. My innate need to search out new patterns and lines, to incorporate text as design, and to break the grid conflicts directly with my deeply ingrained drive to build a style guide and adhere to strict branding rules. Ahhhh rules!
So my search for the perfect opportunity to blend these desires rages on. If you find yourself in need of a marketing-minded, professional designer with a need to be creative, you have found her.
